Energy Bites

I’m always looking for a sweet treat in the morning or a snack that I can eat after a work out. These are perfect for just such an occasion.


    • 14 small dates, pits removed 

    • 1TB chia seeds

    • 1TB pumpkin seeds
    • 1TB finely shredded coconut

    • 1/4 cup slivered almonds

    • 1TB sunflower seeds

    • 1TB raisins or dried cherries/cranberries


Put all ingredients into a food processor and pulse until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Roll into balls and store in the refrigerator until you’d like to eat them!

Note: I used a stick blender because I don’t have a food processor (*wish list*). It’s very doable to make these without a food processor, but you should blend the dates on their own and then mix in the nuts and seeds with a spoon before rolling into balls.

This recipe makes 5-6 bites.
